Our first full week!

Good morning and Happy New Year to those who celebrate!  This is our first full week of classes and therefore students should begin to settle into routines and expectations.  I have uploaded this week's calendar to our site and have noted all assignments on it.  I am also available after school this week on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Cheers to a great week!

We made it!  It's been a hot week, but I've been impressed the resiliency of our students!  Due to some technology issues, author biographies will not be due on Tuesday 9/11.  I will announce a new plan and due date next week.  Have a great weekend!

Week of 9/3/18

Hello and welcome back after what I hope was a wonderful long weekend!  This week in class we will be exploring genre and genre analysis.  We will be reading author biographies and analyzing the genre moves that are both stable and optional within this genre.  At the end of the week, students will utilize those genre moves to write their own author biography!  I am looking forward to learning more about the authors of Ocean's 8!
